Mary Fulgham, violin

 

Mary Fulgham studied at UT Austin from 1969 - 1971 and she received both her bachelors of music degree in 1973 and her masters of music performance in 1976 from the University of Houston. She was the head of the UH String Project from 1977 - 1978 She taught part-time for HISD from 1971 - 1982 and was an adjunct teacher at Houston Baptist University from 1994 - 2011. She has been a member of the Houston Ballet Orchestra from the early 1970s to present and served as principal violist from 1983 - 2000. She has been a member of HGO from the early 1980's to present. She has done extensive freelance work throughout her career. She has been married to Randy Keen for 41 years and her daughter, Ivy, is 21. She is a board member of the Houston Professional Musician's Association, is president of the Houston Rose Society, and is a member of Epiphany Episcopal Church.
